Scripture Reading:  Psalms 75-78

I cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me.(Psalms 77:1).

“Can you hear me now…good!” Everyone remembers that cellular phone commercial where the gentleman is walking briskly down the street in different parts of the world and inquires of his caller if they can still hear his voice.  Many times, as we go through the struggles in our lives we often wonder does God still hears us.

The writer of Psalms ensures us that when we cry unto the Lord, He does hearken unto our prayers. Most of us would think, as big as God is why would a cry from me be important?  Think about it. If you had twenty children, and one of them began to cry, could you ignore it? Our God is not only a great ruler he is an awesome Father.  He has His ears inclined to the cries of those who believe on Him. Your concerns, heartaches, and tears are just as important to Him, as anyone else’s.

Remember, your line to God is direct. The prayers of God’s children are never dropped or ignored.  So the next time you are wondering if God can still hear you, the answer is always a resounding YES!

Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.(Psalms 75:1).
