


Ellechor Publishing House, LLC is a growing book publishing company poised to take the world of publishing into the new millennium with style. With our founder based in Beaverton, Oregon and employees in Georgia, Florida and New Jersey, we utilize the latest technologies to connect virtually and stay on task.
We have several projects underway for launch in late 2010 and are looking for highly independent leaders to intern with our group and get significant work experience assisting our managers achieve their goals. This internship is not your cookie-cutter fetching coffee, slumming in the slush-pile internship. The right intern will have the opportunity to give valuable input, suggest and lead programs of choice, and overall do what all leaders long to do: leave their mark of excellence. The opportunity for continued employment is also open for the most valuable interns.
All interns should possess office work experience, be detail oriented, and able to work well with people and independently. They must also have their own laptop or computer, reliable Internet connectivity, and be able to function in a virtual office environment with primary team contact being via phone and email.
The internships are unpaid, except in the case where freelance writing tasks are specifically requested. We require at least 20 hrs of dedicated time per week. Success is measured primarily on the interns’ ability to complete tasks in a timely manner, and ability to take initiative.
Applicants in Metro Atlanta, GA and Metro Portland, OR areas are preferred, but not a requirement. We will assist any interns that would like to receive course credit for their time, so please identify in your cover letter if this will fulfill a school requirement.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Social Media tools such as Twitter, Facebook and RSS feeds
- Experience writing for various types of marketing material, such as Web, email, fliers, etc.
- Assistance in correcting errors, re-writing content, re-formatting content, identifying related content, and building upon Web Design best practices.
- Ability to write copy for Web pages
- Ability to organize related content and present it in an organized, consistent manner.
- Familiarity with using the Web as a business tool, current Web protocol, Web design best practices, current Web technologies, search engine optimization, etc
